Hey, I’m Danielle!
First things first: I’m completely OBSESSED with all things creative, all things art, and all things food!
I grew up in the little woodsy town of Placerville, CA, a place full of history and nature and magic. I spent most of my time outside exploring and playing all kinds of pretend with my sister. If I wasn’t outside you could easily find me reading or drawing. I have always been self-immersed in the arts. Drawing, painting, ceramics, dance, sewing, baking, PHOTOGRAPHY! I could literally go on for the rest of this page! There are few artistic outlets and mediums that I haven’t tried and fallen in love with.
My passion for photography actually started when I was pretty young, around 5 or 6. I’ve had a love for capturing and mulling over the magical moments of life since I was a little girl, studying our family photo albums and running around with my grandpa’s old Polaroids playing photographer. I have not stopped taking photos since! I got a couple of film cameras and took media and photography classes in middle and high school, a few years later I received my first DSLR. Anytime I’m not lugging around my camera I’m taking photos with my phone. It’s a relentless battle for storage space!
Capturing the beauty of the world around me and the people in it is a huge part of my purpose in life and something I humbly enjoy sharing with my clients. As a photographer I feel I get the chance to pull equal passion and excitement out of my subjects and capture it on camera. Being able to seize my clients inner beauty - individual spark and show it back to them is one of the best feelings and a part of what makes my job so special and fun. I also have a little bit of a background in dance! I’ve always loved it and though I took a few classes when I was really little, the only involvement I really had was religiously watching "So You Think You Can Dance?". That is until about three years ago when I decided to walk into my local studio and sign up for ballet and jazz! I was lucky enough to have really incredible, professional teachers right off the bat who taught me technique and artistry and were somehow able to transform me into a real dancer. A lot of what I’ve learned dancing has transferred to my photos, influencing poses, motion, and angles. My goal is to capture striking and creative photographs that evoke emotion and show the true you! Weather you already have a brilliant vision, just want to capture memorable moments, or you need some inspiration and guidance, I am ready to be your photography fairy godmother, jump into action, and be your hype girl!
A few random extras:

• I love kids and have been a nanny for 10 years!
• NERD ALERT!: I’m a total geek for Disney, tech, and movies!
